A core value of the company, sustainable development underpins every aspect of production and product distribution. Choosing organic ingredients, reducing waste throughout the product life cycle, and environmentally responsible practices are all part of our sustainable development approach.
NatiZèb is aware of its impact, and the use of plastic bags for product packaging is a considered choice. It is the best option in the circumstances because it serves specific functions with no equivalent: it preserves and extends product shelf life by providing an effective barrier to moisture and oxygen (impermeability and anti-oxidation). It is also reusable and recyclable—please do not throw it in the trash! The end-of-life you give it will also determine its environmental impact.
To offset greenhouse gas emissions generated by the company and for each plastic bag sold, NatiZèb supports the fight against climate change by funding carbon sequestration projects through reforestation (tree planting) carried out by Compensation CO2 Québec.
For postal shipping, NatiZèb products are packed in padded envelopes made from 100% recycled paper and are fully compostable or recyclable. It's bubble wrap without the bubbles!
